📖 How to find your MT5 server timezone
Method 1: In MT5, go to Tools → Options → Server tab. Look for "Server time" or timezone information.
Method 2: Check your broker's website or ask support. Common timezones:
• GMT+0 (UTC): Most UK brokers, some prop firms
• GMT+2 (EET): Most European prop firms (FTMO, MyForexFunds, etc.)
• GMT+3: Russian brokers
• GMT-5: US brokers
Method 3: Compare MT5 server time with UTC time. If MT5 shows 14:00 and UTC is 12:00, your server is GMT+2.
All your trade times and analytics will be displayed in this timezone
💡 Example:
If your MT5 server shows "14:30" right now and your server is in GMT+2, enter "14:30" and select "GMT+2" for server timezone. Then choose "London" to see all your trades displayed in London time, regardless of where you're located.
⚠️ Important: Check your MT5 server timezone in MT5: Tools → Options → Server tab, or ask your broker. Most prop firms use GMT+2 (EET) or GMT+0 (London/UTC).
Warning: This will permanently delete all your trades. Use this to clear incorrect data before re-importing.
